Helen Adams Keller
Born on June 27, 1880 in Tuscumbia, Alabama,
Died on June 1, 1968, in Easton, Connecticut, US.
19 months into this Bright Spark's life - darkness and silence entered her world. On reading a Charles Dickens' article on the Perkins School for the Blind - Kate Keller encouraged her huband to visit the school. There, and on the recommendation of Dr. Alexander Graham Bell - Annie Sullivan was hired by the Keller family. Over time, she became the key to opening up the world of communications to Ms. Keller.
